Kazakh Traditional Sports
- Kazakh traditional sports remain an important part of national celebrations and cultural identity. ISKER Group actively supports these events, recognizing their deep historical roots shaped by the nomadic lifestyle, the vast steppes, and the need for physical strength and mastery of horsemanship.
Kokpar
- A dynamic equestrian sport similar to polo. Two teams compete to carry a goat carcass into the opponent’s goal. Matches last 15 minutes, with additional rounds if the score is tied.
Baiga
- A long-distance horse race (from short sprints up to 100 km). Originating from nomadic traditions that valued endurance, Baiga is traditionally raced by children aged 7–14, though professional jockeys also compete.
Kazaksha Kures
- A national wrestling style performed standing only, without groundwork. Historically held during celebrations, it features throws, sweeps, and powerful upper-body techniques.
